How to export your TV Time data before it shuts down
Last updated: July 10, 2026
TV Time is closing on July 15, 2026. You can still take your years of watch history with you, but only if you request your data export before the servers go dark. Here’s exactly how to do it — and how to bring it into BingeYogi.
Deadline: July 15, 2026
After that date, TV Time’s request page and servers go offline. You cannot request an export afterwards, and image links inside the file stop working. Request yours now, even if you’re not ready to switch trackers yet.
Step by step
- 1
Open TV Time’s data-request page
Go to gdpr.tvtime.com and sign in with the same email you use for TV Time. This is TV Time’s official page for requesting a copy of your data (a GDPR data-access request).
- 2
Request your data export
Submit the data-access request for your account. TV Time prepares a downloadable archive of your data and emails a link to your account address.
- 3
Wait for the link — and request early
The archive arrives by email, and it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days (the law allows up to 30 days). Requesting again just re-serves the same file instead of rebuilding a fresh one, so request it as early as you can — well before July 15, 2026, when TV Time’s request page and servers go offline for good.
- 4
Download the .zip
Open the link and download the .zip. It is entirely CSV text — your library, watch history, ratings, reactions, lists and stats — with no photos or comment text inside, because TV Time’s own export leaves those out.
- 5
Import it into BingeYogi
Create a free BingeYogi account, upload the .zip, and your followed shows and movies, every watched episode and date, ratings, reactions, lists and stats are restored — so you pick up exactly where you left off.
A note on timing (be honest with yourself)
TV Time fulfils these requests by email and it is not instant. Most people get their file within a day or two, but it can legally take up to 30 days. Importantly, TV Time’s data page does notrebuild a new export each time you ask — it re-serves the same archive — so asking repeatedly won’t speed it up. The safe move is simple: request it today, and check your inbox over the next few days.
What comes across — and what doesn’t
The export is 100% text (CSV). BingeYogireads it and restores the parts that make your tracker feel like home. A few things TV Time never put in the export, so no tool can bring them — we’d rather tell you up front.
Imports cleanly
- Followed shows, watchlist and archived state
- Every watched episode, with the date you watched it
- Rewatches
- Movies you tracked, watched or watchlisted
- Your ratings
- Your reactions and emotions
- Favorite-character votes
- Custom lists — public and private
- Badges you earned
- Stats — time watched, counts, marathons
- Notification preferences
Not in the export
- ×The text of comments you wrote (TV Time’s export has no comment body)
- ×Photos and memes you uploaded inside comments
- ×Your profile picture and quiz images — they live on TV Time’s servers and stop loading after July 15, 2026
Got your .zip? Bring it home.
BingeYogi is a free, ad-free tracker built as a TV Time replacement. Upload your export and land exactly where you left off.

Common questions
Where do I request my TV Time data?
At gdpr.tvtime.com — TV Time’s official data-request page. Sign in with your TV Time email and submit a data-access request; the download link arrives by email.
How long does the export take?
Usually a few hours, sometimes a few days (GDPR allows up to 30 days). Requesting again re-serves the same file instead of building a new one, so request early rather than waiting until the last minute.
What’s the deadline?
TV Time shuts down on July 15, 2026. After that its request page and servers go offline, so you must request and download your export before then. Any image links inside the export also stop working after shutdown.
What data can I bring to BingeYogi?
Your followed shows and their state, every watched episode with dates, rewatches, tracked movies, ratings, reactions, favorite-character votes, custom lists, badges and stats. Comment text and uploaded photos aren’t in TV Time’s export, so they can’t be imported.
Is it free to import into BingeYogi?
Yes. Create a free BingeYogi account, upload your .zip, and the import restores your history at no cost — no ads, nothing sold.
